  1. I sent a comment but don't see it pubished, so will say my thoughts again.

    Ori,
don't you and the other students begin your work with a program from the "client" for what rooms and spaces your building should have ? The examples that you chose are large scale buildings. Please, specify the SIZE of your future building or complex of buildings and show same size examples.
Usually the client has a budget, and according this budget he fixes the size. He knows what functions he needs. Who would be your "clients" ? Municipality ? What is the approximate number of the visitors ? From all the city or local ? You said some words about the people in close neiborhood. But the buildings that you show are very presitisious and not very "inviting" the habitants living in close neiborhood.

I really need to know in advance the size of your future building.

  2. This is a comment for Nadya-
The students are currently working on finishing their precedent study and from this research will begin creating their own program for the building that they will be designing. The building will be roughly 35,000sf over multiple floors.
Ori will need to answer many of your questions above as he develops his program. This is similar to an undergraduate thesis project.
I hope this helps. Prof. Jill

  3. Ori-
These are great diagrams. It is very impressive that you were able to find sections of all these buildings. Now take some time and look t all the program spaces and look at their adjacencies and which ones work and do not.
